When is the world more awake, more present, more itself than in the early morning?
The darkness of the night has power to make colours, sounds, and atmosphere and smell fresh again.
What can we do to keep the freshness of the morning in ourselves? We perceive the world and ourselves in a spirit of gratitude. Then we wish peace upon our fellows, upon nature and ourselves, every morning. We bless other people and nature and nature, wishing them all peace.
Through wishing peace, people and nature stay filled with energy. They remain true to themselves, remain pure and fresh. Through wishing peace we arm ourselves against unpleasant surprises and depressing experiences. To be at peace means to be at one with oneself, to be in equilibrium, to stay pure and filled with the power to act.
When we pass the day with the thought of peace present in our minds, nothing can truly disturb us. And as soon as own peace is threatened we find support in the peace of humanity and of nature.
